Provider/Client Partnership Charter

Training Providers

Kent Training Providers with the "Trained By Kent" mark of approval are committed to excellence in the delivery of learning and development services to employers/clients. They will:

  • Respond to all enquiries within three working days.
  • Provide a statement of your requirements and a costed proposal for services, following a discussion of your needs.
  • Tailor service delivery to individual requirements, in accordance with your business needs.
  • Provide accurate and relevant management information on activities delivered.
    Deliver training and developement services in a structured way, with clear
    learning aims and review, using staff with appropriate skills, experience and qualifications.
  • Evaluate services through learners and clients, using the independent mechanism of the register.
  • Ensure continuous improvement through action on evaluation findings and staff training and development.
  • Provide a written complaints procedure on request.
  • In the event of disputes or grievances between provider and client, resolve disputes through the Register's mediation service, if unable to resolve through normal complaints procedure.


Clients

Those seeking to access, or in receipt of, training through the Register will:

  • Provide a clear and concise brief with regard to their required training needs.
  • Respond to Training Provider proposals in a timely manner and with a clear indication of intent.
  • Agree to the payment terms and conditions, as stipulated by the Training Provider, in advance of any training taking place.
  • Assist in the evaluation of training services by completing feedback responses in a constructive, and timely manner.
  • In the event of disputes or grievances between client and provider, resolve disputes through the Register's mediation service, if unable to resolve through normal complaints procedure.
